They showed examples (e.g. from Warsaw and Cracow) of studies on transport preferences and behaviours as well as simulation modelling of vehicle and passenger journeys in transport networks. During the seminar, students could learn how these issues will be developed as part of the CoMobility research project. In the project, transport models will play an essential role in assessing the effectiveness of transport interventions, improving air quality and travel conditions – in commuting to schools, and more broadly in the scale of the city (e.g. as a result of changes in transport preferences as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic).
