CoMobity Team’s Participation at mobil.TUM 2024 Conference

This April, three members of the CoMobity project attended the mobil.TUM 2024 international conference hosted by the Technical University of Munich from April 10 to 12. The event attracted researchers and professionals from various disciplines, who work on the topics within the main confernce theme, “The Future of Mobility and Urban Space”.

Joanna Rachubik from the University of Warsaw’s part of our team, presented one of the threads of our research, which focused on developing a method that allows for investigating inequalities in air quality and access to schools by public transport for all children entering public primary education and living in Warsaw. Henrik Grythe from NILU talked on the impact of parental driving behaviors during delivery and pickup, such as idling and manouvring, on the air quality in school premises. Feedback from conference attendees was constructive and appreciated, aiding in the refinement of the final version of the scientific article describing this study research.

The conference provided an opportunity for our team to engage with the broader academic community and gain different perspectives on our work. It was a valuable experience that enhanced our understanding and will inform our future efforts.

We thank the organizers at the Technical University of Munich for hosting this engaging event and look forward to participating in similar forums to continue learning and sharing our research progress.
